Raduno aerostatico dell'Epifania 2017 - Mondovì

Oggi, nonostante tutti i pronostici, sono riuscito a fare un'uscita fotografica durante il raduno aerostatico che si tiene ogni anno a Mondovì nel week-end dell'Epifania.

Quest'anno a differenza dello scorso anno e per il poco tempo a disposizione ho deciso di recarmi dov'era posizionato uno dei bersagli da colpire dagli equipaggi. Non ho fatto molte foto ma credo possano essere interessanti.

Inoltre essendo un raduno internazionale ne trovate a centinaia ricercando il tag #mondovìvola 

Come sempre prima di andare avanti vi chiederei, dato che tutto quello che faccio è per passione, se poteste gentilmente fare qualche click sulle pubblicità a destra o sotto. Si aprirà una pagina di sponsor, a voi non costa niente e non ci sono virus essendo tutte pubblicità di google, poi potete richiuderla. In tasca mi viene qualche centesimo e mi copre quelle poche spese di dominio e sito internet. Grazie mille davvero.

Iniziamo dal bersaglio, eccolo una croce di circa 5 metri di larghezza di un bel rosso vivace. Viene posizionata e comunicata agli equipaggi pochi istanti prima della gara, a questo punto i piloti, che partono tutti dallo stesso punto, devono studiare il vento per riuscire ad avvicinarsi il più possibile.

Subito gli equipaggi paiono allontanarsi molto ma pian piano scendono di quota e prendono una corrente che soffia proprio nella direzione del bersaglio.

Dai che il vento vi porta dalla parte giusta.

La prima sta arrivando e pare proprio essere in linea col target. 

Questo invece è il peso che viene lanciato dagli equipaggi che si deve avvicinare il più possibile al centro.

Arrivano anche le altre. 

Questo equipaggio prova un lancio un po' azzardato...finirà a circa 34 metri dal bersaglio, ma meglio di altri che neanche riusciranno a farlo.

Questa mongolfiera invece ha lanciato da molto alto, sperando che la forza di gravità faccia bene il suo dovere.

A fine serata, nonostante la temperatura polare di questi giorni, ho provato a fare un tramonto alla nostra Bisalta, su cui vi avevo raccontato una leggenda in questo articolo.

This year, unlike last year, and for the little time I decided to go where he was placed one of the targets to be hit by the crews. I have not done a lot of photos but I think you may find interesting.

We start from the target, here a cross of about 5 meters wide bright red nice. It is positioned and communicated to the crews a few moments before the race, at this point the drivers, who all start from the same point, they have to study the wind to be able to get as close as possible.

Immediately the crews seem to stray far but slowly descend in altitude and take a current that blows right in the direction of the target.

Raduno aerostatico dell'Epifania - Mondovì

Con un po' di ritardo riesco a condividere qualche foto fatta nelle giornate del week-end dell'epifania appena passata.
Tutti gli anni a Mondovì nei giorni vicini al 6 gennaio si svolge uno dei più grandi raduni aerostatici a livello Italiano e forse anche europeo. Partecipano equipaggi da tutto il mondo e si sfidano in diverse tipologie di gara. Il più bello, per me, è la caccia alla volpe, dove gli equipaggi partono tutti dallo stesso luogo, una mongolfiera parte prima e viene inseguita dalle altre, si confrontano poi le tracce gps e si verifica quella chi le si è avvicinata di più. Un altro tipo di gara è quella di centrare con un peso un bersaglio largo qualche metro, in questo caso gli equipaggi partono da diversi luoghi a loro scelta e vince chi riesce a lanciare il peso più vicino possibile al bersaglio mentre lo sorvola.
La sera precedente alla giornata di gara normalmente viene organizzato il Night Glow che consiste nel gonfiare e accendere in notturna una decina di palloni facendoli danzare a ritmo di musica.
Tra l'altro è stata la prima volta che ho usato seriamente la mia new entry canon 6d accoppiata al sigma 12-24 che invece sta con me da qualche anno.
Purtroppo ho fatto solo qualche scatto al volo quindi non ho provato come meriterebbe il nuovo corpo macchina.
Quest'anno al raduno hanno partecipato anche due mongolfiere a forma di pinguino che purtroppo non hanno volato nella giornata di domenica a causa del meteo avverso, altra grande attesa era Tashi, la mongolfiera con i colori del Tibet.

The most beautiful, for me, is the fox hunt, where the crews depart from the same place, a balloon portion before and being chased by the other, then compare the gps tracks and you experience that those who approached more. Another type of race is center with a weight a few meters off the target, in this case the crews start at different places of their choice and the player who manages to throw the weight close to the target as he flies over.

The evening before the normally organized the Night Glow day of competition which is to swell and turn at night a dozen balloons making them dance to the music.

Among other things it was the first time I seriously used my new entry canon 6d coupled to the sigma 12-24 instead stays with me for several years.

Unfortunately I only did a few shots to the flight so I did not try as it deserves the new camera body.

This year the rally was also attended by two hot air balloons shaped like a penguin that unfortunately did not fly on Sunday because of adverse weather, the other great expectation was Tashi, the balloon in the colors of Tibet.
